The different stages of the disease
The discovery of the disease can be done at different times and according to its progress, it will be classified at different stages, which are numbered four. We'll talk about stage I when only a node group is affected. Stage II, when different ganglion groups are reached above or below the diaphragm. Stage III is described when the ganglion groups on both sides of the diaphragm are met and stage IV is reached when the viscera are affected.

Stage III of Hodgkin's disease
Several ganglion groups are affected above and below the diaphragm, the disease has spread to the rib cage and abdomen and is referred to as advanced stage cancer. After a complete medical examination and in order to confirm the diagnosis, the doctor will prescribe a lymph node biopsy to confirm the presence of Reed-Sternberg cells in the contaminated tissues. Blood and histological examinations will complete the diagnosis as well as a puncture and biopsy of the bone marrow and a CT of the body.
The symptoms of stage III of Hodgkin's disease
At this stage of the illness significant fatigue, night sweats as well as fever are often described accompanied or not by weight loss. Redness and itching appear on the body. The size of the lymph nodes increases and they are palpable at the neck, armpits, thorax and abdomen.
